Dairy Farmer Ayesha: Empowering Women in Rural Sindh
Ayesha, a young mother in rural Sindh, started with just two cows gifted by her family. With training in livestock vaccination and feed management, she was able to increase milk production significantly.
Instead of selling milk door-to-door, Ayesha partnered with a local dairy cooperative that buys milk in bulk. Today, she manages a small herd of 12 cows, employs two women from her village, and supplies milk to a major dairy processor.
