Imran inherited farmland in Swabi but faced low profits due to rising fertilizer and pesticide costs. In 2018, he transitioned to organic farming using compost, crop rotation, and natural pest control.
Initially, yields were lower, but within 2 years, demand for his organic produce surged. He began supplying organic vegetables to supermarkets in Peshawar and Islamabad. Today, Imran earns more than he ever did with conventional farming.
📌 Lesson: Sustainable practices may take time but can result in long-term profits and healthier communities.
